We arrived at Budget Terminal at around 630am.
Had our Mac breakfast before checking in.
We realised Alan & I brought the same camera! Awesome! We shall all have pretty pictures!

After about an hour and 20 mins, we've reached Thailand!

On the way to the hotel, the cab driver stopped us at a tour company. We were at first apprehensive about it, but realised that they offer us most of the things we wanted to do in Phuket.
We arranged a diving trip for our 2nd day. And a Adventure trip on the 4th day. Alan has his 2nd diving trip (for advanced divers only) on the 3rd day.
Our discover diving trip cost about S$200. Diving equipments and attires are all provided as well as transport, lunch and boat.

Arrived at our hotel near Patong Beach, called Baumanburi.
Having not enough sleep the previous night, (Angela could actually watch movie at 1.30am and reached home at almost 4am) we napped for awhile till it's past noon and went out to look for food.
Streets nearby were good for shopping. But stores all had the same repeating stuffs. Angela is a very good bargainer we must all learn from. We reduced our sunglasses from 600baht, to 150baht.
The thai street people really jack the prices up. If u think the price doesn't justify or Singapore or other countries can be cheaper, bargain all you want!

I was pretty excited seeing how cheap booze is in Thai. It's heaven man. While having lunch, (it sucked) we couldn't help but order beer as well as juices.

We bought matching Singha singlets to don on as it was really SORCHING hot! Off we went to Patong beach! Really convenient and near our hotel.

We had some mouth-watering glass noodles in spicy soup, with meatballs by the road side. Gosh! It's heaven! Missing it now!
Made friends with tuk-tuk uncle, Som, he offered to bring us round on monday where we plan to go horse-back riding & shooting etc.

Washed up. Dinner. Continued shopping a bit.
Thought that nightlife was boring but we continued searching for some nightlife and TA-DAH! Our perserverance led us to Banana Disco! However we didn't go in and carried on exploring.

True enough our efforts paid off and we found BANGALA ROAD! Filled with nightlife and very happening.

As the next day we had to dive, thus we tried ending our night early. But being the party animals; Angela & Me, we got lured to this Exotica place that offers the infamous Tiger Show.

Upon entering, all we have to do is to buy a drink. And a bottle of beer cost 300 over Baht.
It's a circular stage, and surrounding it are tables and chairs for the curious audience.
On top the stage, scantily dressed girls/women are dancing by the many poles. Some expose their bikini tops. Some still keep it on. Most of them looked bored dancing. And i was bored looking.
We stayed on, however to wait for the more exciting parts.
After the awful dance, came an even worst performance. 3 girls getting it on, disgustingly.
Enough'said.
At long last, 2 older and probably the only ones that can perform tricks with their down-under, came out and one of them inserted sharp pins within them, lay down on the floor, aim and shot at some balloons.
W.O.W.
I can't remember the different sequence of the show. But they involved putting in live bird, and releasing it out again. And they do it again and again. It was sick.
A whistle blowing pussy.
A cigarette puffing pussy.
A ping-pong ball stuffing and aiming act.
Not the actual Tiger show that i heard frm my friends but some acts are identical and scary enough.
We took our 1st Tuk tuk ride back to the hotel and realised it was actually quite near.
I had trouble sleeping at the hotel for 2 nights.. Somehow, i just couldn't sleep no matter how tired i was.
DAY 2:
We woke up late and gobbled down our free American breakfast buffet. Quite awesome.
Our transport brought us to some beach area that i was too sleepy to take note of.
The boat brought us far out to Racha Yai island area and it was such a long journey. On the way we were given a prepped talk on how to operate, on what to look out for in the water, our different equipments etc etc.

It was quite alot of common sense but yet when we entered the water, gosh, it was scary at first when the pressure hit me.
We had to hold on to this rope attached to a rock on the sea bed and the boat. While inching down slowly, i was not used to breathing through the weird equipments and i started panicking!
I wanted to back out but i saw Angela coping fine, and i was like "Fuck it, i can do it too!" And i want to so badly! So i equalize myself, push all the pressure out and got used to the pressure the body is feeling.
Water is slightly cool, but not very cold.
We got to practice use of our equipments; releasing air, and pumping in air.
Then we had to kneel on the sea bed which i find fucking hard. How in the world do u kneel with flippers on??!
Hahahaha, that aside, i got slightly confused with the releasing and pumping in air thingy.
Slowly common sense kicked in.
Releasing of air = you'll sink lower
And Pumping in air = you'll rise.
Simple :)
Things i saw in my 1st dive! Water is very clear. Really clear. And if u scrutinise, you'll see really small tiny particles floating past you.

Now, being underwater, is a very quiet affair. All is strangely quiet. And you just hear your own breathing. It sounds exactly like Darth Vadar in his black armour, i kid you not.
A few times i was so fascinated being underwater and side by side among fishes i forgot to breathe! Hahaha.
We got back up after awhile and getting back up is always a bitch. I hate getting up because the current will keep pushing u away while u're trying to get back to the boat's rear.
And you'll be like paddling real hard while currents keep smashing and slamming you in the face, so it's still wiser to keep the mask on as water is really salty though crystal clear!
After some rest and relaxing sleep, it's time for our 2nd dive at a deeper location!

This time photographer/instructor Neil wanted us to jump off the boat and he'll take snap shots. Alan did the best looking jump!
We saw much more things in this 2nd dive but i preferred the 1st one as it was more colourful.
But 2nd dive was much longer and there was a moment when Neil grabbed Angela and me and suddenly there was a large deafenning boom from above. And horrified! We saw a boat started its huge-ass engine and moving off!
We could have floated to its propeller and .......
Gruesome.
Anyway we were pretty familiarised plus thanks to Alan's tips; to sink abit lower, there's no need to release air. Just hold on to your breath for just awhile and u'll automatically sink.
Alan was really helpful throughout. Just that i kept knocking and bumping into him and Angela. LOL! I can't see behind or above me ok! Hahahah and few times i felt some bubbling sensation below me, and then i saw Alan right below me! Hahahha.

There was this 1 time though, Angela bumped into my oxy tank real loud. A HUGE KUNK! I was startled! I quickly checked to make sure there's no hole! Else i'll have no oxygen!!
We went far away from our stationed boat. And Neil had to cast this SOS yellow flag to get the boat to fetch us. Getting up again was a bitch. GRrrrr really hate that. This time was worse! It's so hard to remove my flippers because it was a size smaller! Really struggled and alot of salty water got into me.
Back up the boat, my nose had some nosebleed. Not sure if it's the pressure or the water irritated my nose because my nose felt quite sore.
We had some food and drinks. But all i wanted was sleep.

It was super relaxing on our way back.
With our ears rather blocked, wind blowing in your face, with nothing on your mind, nothing at all, it was SO RELAXING and nice. Slept quite abit till Neil called us down to view the photos/videos he took.
And we paid 1000Baht for the cd to commemorate our 1st dive! :D

While hanging out in the cabin area, we made friends with a few other diver instructors. One whom got really close to me..
They're all tattooed, smokers, rebels, but so free-spirited and carefree in some ways! Reminds me of pirates :) envy their lives.

We propped our legs out, letting it dangle over the rail out into the sea. Amazing.
And i played "Jason Mraz's I'm Yours" on my phone. OMG Super heavenly!
It's definitely just a start for me. I can't wait to go get my open water license!
Then i can dive officially!
We had a ride back to our hotel and we made friends with this Japanese girl who came alone just to dive! Amazing!
We were freaking hungry so upon reaching the hotel we left for Patong again. Roaming for that goddamn good noodle stall! Alas we couldn't find it but we just walked around the shops.
In the night upon freshening up, it's time to PARTAAYYYY!
Bringing Alan out to club is a first time! Haa!

There were too many clubs; literally the whole street! So we checked out Hollywood and got a free drink. Next we checked Seduction and it was great! We bought shooters, baileys, long island tea, beers and more shooters!
The shooter platter was a good one but err it wasn't high enough for me and Angela.
We took good care of Alan, and as he had to dive the next day, he left first.
Well, Angela had a good time at the dancefloor ;)
It was good shit and we soon left and walked all the way back to our hotel with cup noodles!
THANKS TO THE ALCOHOL I COULD FINALLY SLEEP!
DAY 3:
As Alan went to dive, Angela and i checked out of our hotel, shopped but didn't buy anything from this major shopping centre in Phuket Town. We moved to another hotel in Phuket Town to check out the area too.
Whole day was wasted and we were dead tired. Soon we met up with Alan at our next hotel, washed up and off we go to the WEEKEND MARKET!
It's HEAVEN i tell you! A shopaholic's heaven!! Things are really cheap there!

We decided to go back the the next night.
And this is Alan's picture while out diving.

ISN'T IT BEAUTIFUL?!
DAY 4:
Had to be up early again. This time for the adventure tour. Journey here and there, it was pretty long.

The tour includes:
1. Elephant show
2. Monkey show
3. ATV ride
4. Water rafting

Being out in the country side of phuket is really nice, relaxing. There's alot of greenary and nature. I like :)

So night falls and back to the Weekend market we went. And we've made good friends with Tik & friends :)
Lovely bunch of Thais really. Friendly and sincere. They even send us back to our hotel when there was no more transport.

THIS IS THE WEEKEND MARKET!

And on my mind all this while, i was thinking about that particular diver whom i met on the boat. Alas he didn't give me his contact number..
DAY 5:
Horseback Riding was a pain to my arse.

That's pretty what the whole 1 hour ride on the horse was about.
Oh, and horses sweat!
Shooting.
I shot pistols and rifle. :D
Cool shit.
Som, another Thai friend we got to know, brought us to these attractions that we wanted to go. We booked him for a day and he brought us round and waited for us to be done each time. Nice bloke
Lastly, Temple.

Real peaceful. Calm.

Down the hill, Som stopped the tuk tuk and told us to take pictures here. It was an amazing photo-taking site.

And our last night in Phuket is partying again of course!
And on a MONDAY night baby! Hahahaha!

We made Alan high and tipsy. It was good LOL.
I was having the runs so yea, boring~
DAY 6:
Check out and home sweet home.
Slept like a baby on the plane.
It was a good trip. Singapore is really a clean and fine country. Thailand has its beauty too.
P.S I left my iphone charger in the hotel..........
